The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team from April 2026 on a supply basis. The role involves teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting pupils in developing strong numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
You will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons, monitor student progress, and help pupils prepare for GCSE Maths examinations. The school is looking for a teacher who can maintain high expectations in the classroom while making maths accessible and engaging for learners of varying abilities.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or be an ECT
• Have experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Be confident delivering GCSE-level Maths content
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
• Be organised, reliable, and committed to improving pupil outcomes
