As a Maths Teacher at this provision, you will teach small classes of students who require additional support to succeed in education. You will deliver engaging and accessible maths lessons that help students rebuild confidence in their abilities while developing their numeracy skills. The school benefits from good facilities, excellent resources and strong leadership from an outstanding Headteacher who is committed to creating a supportive environment for both staff and students. This role is ideal for a QTS Maths Teacher who has strong subject knowledge and enjoys inspiring a love for maths!
Job Role:- Teaching Maths to small classes of students with SEMH needs
- Supporting students who have been excluded from mainstream education
- Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated maths lessons
- Building positive relationships to support engagement and behaviour
- Creating a structured and supportive learning environment
- Working closely with support staff to help students succeed
- Assessing, monitoring and recording student progress
- Encouraging confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards learning
