• Pay: £500 – £750 per week (dependent on assignment and experience)

 
The Role
We are seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Wolverhampton from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
 
The successful candidate will supervise classes across KS3 and KS4, delivering pre-prepared work and ensuring students remain focused and engaged with their learning. You will play an important role in maintaining a positive classroom environment and supporting the smooth running of lessons in the absence of the usual teacher.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with secondary-aged students
• Be confident supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
• Have strong classroom management and communication skills
• Be able to follow lesson plans and instructions effectively
• Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and engagement
• Be reliable, organised and adaptable
• Build positive and professional relationships with students and staff

 
This role would suit candidates with previous experience in education, including teaching assistants, cover supervisors, graduates or those looking to develop a career in teaching.
 
The School
You will be working within a secondary school in Wolverhampton, supporting students across KS3 and KS4 and contributing to a positive and purposeful learning environment.
 
This long-term supply opportunity provides the chance to gain valuable experience within a secondary school setting while supporting students’ learning and development.
