The Role
A secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join the school from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
The successful candidate will supervise KS3 and KS4 classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged with the work that has been set. You will help maintain a calm, productive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and provide support to students where appropriate, while ensuring school policies are followed at all times.
This role is ideal for individuals with previous classroom experience, aspiring teachers, graduates considering a career in education, or experienced Cover Supervisors looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity within a supportive secondary school.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable)
• Be confident managing classrooms across KS3 and KS4
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Be adaptable, organised, and able to work across a variety of subject areas
• Have a positive, proactive, and professional approach
• Be committed to supporting students' learning and maintaining high standards within the classroom
