The Role
A secondary school in Warwickshire is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their department from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
The role involves teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and structured lessons that develop students’ confidence in numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Maths, ensuring strong progress and attainment across mixed-ability classes.
Working as part of a supportive department, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive classroom environment that encourages achievement and participation. You will also contribute to the wider life of the school and support departmental initiatives aimed at raising standards.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or be an ECT
• Have a strong subject knowledge of Mathematics
• Be confident teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Be committed to supporting student progress and achievement
• Have a proactive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning
