The Role
A secondary school in Shrewsbury is seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join their team from June 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
The role involves supervising classes across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the regular class teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with the work provided. You will manage classroom behaviour, support students in completing set activities, and help maintain a positive learning environment throughout the school day.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working with secondary-aged students
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Be confident supervising classes across a range of subjects
• Be organised, adaptable, and professional
• Have a positive and proactive approach to supporting students
• Previous school-based experience is desirable, although not essential for candidates with relevant transferable skills.
