Job Description
Teaching Assistant required to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a student that is no longer in mainstream education. This school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to engage with and motivate young people who have become disinterested in education. You will need to be a proactive and empathetic Teaching Assistant who is able to demonstrate high levels of resilience. The student is not engaged with Maths or English, however enjoys active and creative subjects.

The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is committed to making a difference, and who can work alongside the teaching staff. Job Role:
  • Providing, academic and behaviour support
  • Building rapport with students, getting to know their individual needs
  • Supporting the class Teacher
  • Leading fun and educational activities for students
  • Making a difference
Ideally, you will:
  • Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • Be able to work with challenging behaviour
  • Have recent experience working with Special Educational Needs
  • Be resilient, confident and empathetic towards students’ needs
