The Education Network are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support schools in and around the North Yorkshire area. This role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, delivering pre-set work, and managing student behaviour to ensure a productive learning environment.
As a Cover Supervisor you will also support the school during non-cover periods, which may include general teaching assistant duties and wider student support.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the absence of teaching staff
• Deliver work set by the class teacher
• Maintain good order and ensure students remain on task
• Provide general support across the school when not covering lessons

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is desirable 
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
