About the Role The Education Network is currently recruiting for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support teaching and learning in a welcoming and inclusive school based in the BD15 area of Bradford.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled HLTA who is passionate about supporting pupils’ progress and contributing to high-quality teaching and learning. You will work closely with class teachers and senior leaders to deliver planned lessons, lead small group interventions, and provide one-to-one support where required.
The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, the ability to engage pupils of varying abilities, and the confidence to deliver lessons independently when needed.
Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum.
• Lead small group and one-to-one interventions to raise attainment.
• Cover whole classes in the teacher’s absence, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Assist in the planning, preparation and assessment of learning activities.
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and a supportive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs and senior leaders to meet pupil needs.

Requirements

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience supporting learning across Key Stages (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A positive, proactive and flexible approach to working with children.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
