The Education Network is recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Bingley. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and making a genuine difference in their educational journey.
The Role: As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEND, including autism (ASC), social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), and communication difficulties.
• Work alongside teachers and support staff to deliver targeted interventions and differentiated learning activities.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, helping to build their confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.
• Support the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and contribute to progress reviews.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.

About You: We are looking for someone who:

• Has proven experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in mainstream or specialist settings).
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a calm, supportive approach to behaviour and learning.
• Can work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
• Is reliable, adaptable, and committed to supporting inclusive education.
• Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) – experience will also be considered in place of formal qualifications.
