We are pleased to have teamed up with The Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation, a registered charity, that has recently celebrated their tenth anniversary, working within the local community of Warrington.
The partnership comes on the back of a recommendation by Lee Morgan, a Teacher Recruitment Consultant based in our Warrington and Manchester offices. Lee recognised the support the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation provided in the local area and immediately put a fantastic proposal forward in recommending we support their community work.
Lee was delighted to be presented with the Business Patron Plaque by Terry O’Neill, Chairman of the Foundation at a recent opening event, celebrating the launch of a new Youth Club.
This is just one example of the great work the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation undertake. The opening of the new Youth Club, provided by the foundation was held at Woolston 6th Form SEND school in collaboration between Green Lane Special School and Foxwood Special School.
Lee said “As you can see in the photo, everyone has really enjoyed the event tonight, taking part in cooking activities and socialising in an evening, in a safe and friendly environment. The opening of this Youth Club will be a fantastic support for the local community and we were honored to be invited along to the opening”.
“Our plaque will be displayed proudly in our Warrington office and we look forward to supporting Terry and his team”.
Four Key Areas of Community Support
Through the umbrella of sport they work in four key areas:
- Young people
- Social welfare.
Using their relationship with the Rugby Club Warrington Wolves to enhance and promote their fantastic work, the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation are able to use the rugby players and mascot Wolfie, as ambassadors for the many community based projects they undertake.
