Tumbles and Grumbles is a company that specialises primarily in Parental First aid in a range of venues across the North East.

Founded in 2015 by Caroline - a Paramedic of 14 years and a Mum for just over three, she realised when entering  motherhood that there was a serious need (and want) for parents and carers to have basic knowledge of paediatric first aid skills.

So, Tumbles and Grumbles was born and Caroline developed a three hour course offering parents, grandparents and carers the chance to come along and gain some knowledge and hands-on practical experience of how to help the little ones in their lives, if they should ever need to.

As a Paramedic, Caroline has experienced some amazing events including delivering  five babies in the pre-hospital environment, conversely, she has also witnessed  some things that aren’t so lovely and unfortunately a proportion of these incidents involved babies and children.

It is these very real experiences that provided Caroline with both the knowledge and skills needed to treat her own little one in an emergency situation should one arise and this inspired her to provide  this wonderful service and help others with the very real dilemmas that may be faced on a daily basis.
