With the fantastic reputation and relationships we have built over the years with our partnership schools in the North East, the Education Network are currently seeking to recruit an Early Years/Key Stage One teaching assistant working with one of our wonderful partnership schools in Cramlington. The role would involve supporting  early years and key stage one from January until July 2022. The school are looking for someone who is warm, approachable and can work under their own initiative to help create a welcoming environment for young minds to flourish.

To be considered for this role we request that the following criteria be met in full:

  • Qualified to at least a Level 2 in a relevant education support and leaning.
  • Have zero criminal convictions and if not in possession already be willing to apply for a DBS (Disclosure and Barring service) Certificate.
  • Have recent experience of working in a classroom environment in the past 2-3 years (voluntary is acceptable).
  • Have enthusiasm for learning and supporting teachers and pupils in school.
  • Be able to provide references to cover you for your last 2 years of employment (at least one being relevant to childcare/education).
