We are currently looking to recruit a Primary school teacher to cover for two terms starting after the Christmas holidays in a popular primary school in South Northumberland. You would be teaching a year 3 class on an initial supply basis due to a teacher leaving but if you were a good fit then the school could be looking to offer a permanent contract as we move towards the summer holidays. It is a full time role and you would be responsible for planning and marking day to day and as such you would be paid to scale from day 1.

-Qualified to teach primary education in the UK

-Have zero criminal convictions (if you don’t already have a DBS then one will be need to be processed)

-You must be able to provide references from the last two years including at least one which is school/child based

-Superb behaviour management skills and the ability to build a strong, professional rapport with children and staff

-Commitment and passion to good teaching practice and quality teaching

- Full understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection methods and responsibilities

-The pedagogy of providing effectively for the individual needs of all children including classroom organisation and learning strategies

-Must complete registration with Education Network, school will only accept candidates that are clear and available to start
