If so… We are currently working with a school in the Saltley area of Birmingham who are looking for a TA to work with a young male child.
The role involves supporting a male child in a primary school, providing him with one to one support in lessons as well as managing his behaviour.
The school are looking for someone who has a passion for helping children with challenging behaviour. The child is motivated by sports, arts and media and responds well to these subjects.
Key functions of the role of Teaching Assistant.
Requirements for the role of Teaching Assistant
- You will provide one to one support in lessons and close supervision while moving around corridors at busy times.
- Time during the day to administer his exercise program.
- Candidates should have a level 3 qualification to at least an NVQ Level 3.
- Ability to work with children with severe behaviour issues.
- Aware of child protection and bullying issues.
