We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with small groups of children with Special Educational Needs. If you are a friendly, kind and compassionate Teaching Assistant who has worked with children with ASD, EBS and SEMH, then this role might be ideal for you. You will be working alongside an experienced teacher who always puts her students first. You will need to be resilient and patient as you will be supporting children who have faced significant barriers toe education.
The school teaches children is small groups, allowing them to receive tailored support to suit their needs. With an excellent team in place you will be joining a caring and proactive culture. The school enjoy thinking outside the box and providing a high standard of education to all of their students.
- Providing 1-2-1 classroom based support
- Working alongside the class teacher to enable learning
- Managing classroom behaviour
- Ensuring that each child is given the support that they deserve
Ideally, you will:
- Have experience working with Special Educational Needs
- Enjoy making a difference everyday
- Have experience breaking down barriers to education
- Be proactive and dedicated
