Job Details

Teaching Assistant required for a long-term role supporting a Key Stage 3 student who has faced barriers to education and requires additional classroom support. This role requires a Teaching Assistant who is able to build rapport with students and manage challenging behaviours. This school has a reputation for enabling students to reengage with education.

This school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to engage with students and inspire them. You will be joining an experienced team who are focused on making a difference and helping the young people that they support. Ideally you will have experience working within an Alternative Provision or SEND setting, and enjoy a challenge!

This Alternative Provision is focussed on making a difference, and in order to make an impact you will need to:

  • Be proactive, hardworking and resilient
  • Have the desire to make a difference in the lives of young people
  • Have experience working with challenging behaviour
