This fantastic Alternative Provision is looking for a Science Teacher to join the team. You will be teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 & 4 students that are no longer in mainstream education. There is plenty of support from the SLT and in class Teaching Assistants.
This Alternative Provision has been successful in delivering the GCSE Sciecne curriculum and is keen to find a dedicated Sciecne Teacher with a good subject knowledge, and the desire to make a difference. This role is a great opportunity for a teacher with experience working within alternative provisions or a teacher from a mainstream background with good behaviour management.
- Delivering GCSE Science
- Teaching small groups of students
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Working closely with in class Teaching Assistants
- Making learning FUN for students
Ideally, you will:
- Be a QTS or NQT Science Teacher
- Enjoy breaking down barriers to education
- Be an excellent communicator
- Have experience working with EBD, SEMH or SEND
