The Education Network are currently working with a number of Primary Schools and Academies in and around Scunthorpe who are now looking to recruit SEN experienced Teaching Assistants for classroom and one to one work with pupils, both short term and long term contracts.

The Schools are a mixture of larger, busy and sometimes challenging schools and quieter, smaller rural schools with a variety of different needs. Candidates for these positions must be able to provide a recent reference working in either day nurseries or schools working in a similar position and will hold a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification.

Experience of working and setting work for one student is essential as well as still being able to manage behaviour. Also experience of working with PMLD and children who need personal care would be advantageous, although not essential.

Additional Special Needs Qualifications such as Team Teach would also be beneficial.
