Requirements:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, or a related subject.
• Passion for the education of young people.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts.
• Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of students.
• Flexible and adaptable personality.
• Natural ability to build strong bonds with others.
• Previous experience of working alongside students, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.

 
The Role
As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will use your friendly personality to create a positive learning environment for students by partaking in activities with the wider school community and extracurricular events. You will provide support to both students and staff by leading 1:1 and small group interventions for under-achieving students, in addition to assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivering of high-quality maths lessons. To adapt learning materials to suit the needs of individual students, you will assess classwork and identify any additional support needs.
