Job Purpose
Rutherford AFC (RAFC) is a community focussed charity in the heart of Lobley Hill, Gateshead. Our vision is continue to develop our offer for our members but also widening our offer to everyone. Regardless of ability, gender, age, religion or disability.
The main roles of this post have historically been carried out by club secretaries, however due to the size of the club and our ambitious plans to grow, we are now developing this new and exciting role to help with our vision. 
Main Duties & Responsibilities (but not limited to)
 -Coordinating RAFC coaches (First point of contact)
-Updating the FA WGS
-Coordinating coaches meeting
-Coordinating and support volunteer club development officers
-County FA and county league liaison
-Develop offer to members
-Support RAFC members
-Dealing with disciplinaries and complaints (football only)
-Supporting membership payment arrears
-Supporting the board on footballing decisions that impact our vision
-Supporting ground development plans
-Aspects of coaching
-Garment ordering
Child Protection
-The successful candidate will need to demonstrate knowledge of child protection legislation including safeguarding and best practice in football.
Health and Safety
 To ensure that all activities are delivered within a safe, controlled environment.
Additional Key Duties
-To represent RAFC in a professional manner.
-To carry out duties set by the board of trustees
-To assist the club secretary, clubhouse manager, groundman and our trading arm Farnacres LTD
We are looking for an experienced individual that can carry out the clubs vision but also bring their own ideas to the board of trustees.

-Personal Skills
-Ability to inspire, motivate and encourage team members
-The ability to communicate with people at all levels.
-A FA recognised qualification in football coaching
-Willingness to undertake training where necessary.
