Job Description
A Secondary Girls School in South Birmingham, a state of the art facility, are looking for a teacher of Food Technology to carry out a long term maternity cover. The role is Monday to Friday, term time only and is to start as soon as possible and will be through till December 2021 initially. The school has a strong ethos of supporting members of staff with planning, resource sharing, coaching and research groups and the children at the school have good behaviour with positive relationships with members of staff.


You will be working within the Technology department teaching KS3 and KS4 Food and Nutrition. You will be responsible for planning, teaching and assessing all pupils and you will be fully involved with the life of the school including parent teacher and departmental meetings.

Required:
Experience of teaching KS3/KS Food Technology to include practicals.
NQT'S who are willing to learn on the job
Creative and engaging lessons, good subject knowledge
Valid DBS on the update service.
