Teaching Assistant needed to provide classroom based support to children who require additional support in a mainstream school. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is comfortable working with challenging behaviour, to provide support to students with additional needs. You will be working with small groups or on a 1-2-1 basis, so an abundance of patience, empathy and resilience are essential.

Job Role:
- Providing, academic and behaviour support
- Building rapport with students, getting to know their individual needs
- Supporting the class Teacher
- Leading fun and educational activities for students
- Making a difference
Ideally, you will:
- Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Be able to work with challenging behaviour
- Have recent experience working with Special Educational Needs
- Be resilient, confident and empathetic towards students’ needs
