The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a secondary school in Wolverhampton from September 2026 on a supply basis.
 
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons, helping students develop their literacy, communication and analytical skills. You will create a positive learning environment, maintain high expectations and support students to make strong academic progress.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
• Have experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
• Deliver engaging and appropriately challenging lessons
• Demonstrate effective classroom management skills
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
• Be organised, reliable and committed to supporting student progress
• Build positive and professional relationships with students and colleagues

 
The School
You will be joining a secondary school in Wolverhampton, working as part of the English department and wider teaching team.
 
This supply opportunity provides a chance to contribute to students’ learning and development while gaining valuable experience within a secondary school environment.
