The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Birmingham from September 2026 on a full-time supply basis.
 
The successful candidate will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support students to develop their mathematical knowledge, understanding and problem-solving skills.
 
You will be expected to plan and deliver effective lessons, assess student progress and maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS or be an ECT specialising in Maths
• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
• Have experience teaching, or be training to teach, across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver engaging and appropriately challenging lessons
• Demonstrate effective classroom management skills
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
• Be organised, reliable and committed to supporting student progress

 
The School
You will be joining an Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Birmingham, working within the Maths department and wider teaching team.
 
This full-time supply position offers an opportunity for a QTS or ECT Maths Teacher to contribute to students’ learning and development across KS3 and KS4, while gaining valuable experience within a secondary school setting.
