The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Sandwell is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its Mathematics department from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well-structured Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop confidence in numeracy, algebra, geometry, statistics, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will support students in preparing for their GCSE Mathematics examinations while encouraging a positive and resilient approach to learning.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement and work collaboratively with colleagues to support student success.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or have relevant teaching experience
• Have experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
• Be confident delivering the GCSE Maths curriculum
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Be committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment
• Have a positive, engaging, and adaptable approach to teaching
