The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department from April 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
The role involves teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. You will play a key role in preparing pupils for GCSE Spanish, building confidence and encouraging a positive attitude towards language learning.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining strong classroom management to ensure a productive learning environment.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
• Have experience teaching Spanish at secondary level
• Be confident delivering Spanish across KS3 and KS4
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be passionate about languages and committed to student progress
