The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Walsall is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from March 2026 on a supply basis. The role involves teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering lessons that help students understand both physical and human geography while building analytical and research skills.
You will deliver structured and engaging lessons, monitor student progress, and support pupils preparing for GCSE Geography examinations. The school is looking for a teacher who can create an engaging learning environment and maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic progress.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
• Have experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
• Be confident delivering GCSE Geography content
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
• Be organised, reliable, and committed to pupil achievement
