The Role
A secondary school in Walsall is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their department from April 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis. The role involves teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that build students’ understanding of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering structured lessons, monitoring pupil progress, and preparing students for GCSE-level content. The school is looking for a teacher who can establish clear classroom routines, maintain high expectations, and support pupils in developing confidence in science.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
- Be confident delivering the three sciences at secondary level
- Demonstrate effective behaviour management
- Be organised, adaptable, and focused on pupil progress
