The Role
An Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Coventry is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Maths Teacher to join them on a permanent basis from September 2026. You will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, following the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum at Key Stage 4.
You will deliver structured, knowledge-rich lessons that develop fluency, reasoning and advanced problem-solving skills. A strong focus on examination preparation, data analysis and targeted intervention is essential to ensure high levels of attainment and progress.
This is a full teaching post with responsibility for planning, assessment, marking and contributing to departmental development.
The Candidate
You must hold QTS and have experience teaching Maths at secondary level. Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE specification is desirable, although strong GCSE experience with the ability to adapt to international frameworks will also be considered. The ideal candidate will demonstrate confident classroom management, high expectations and a track record of securing strong outcomes at KS4.
