The Role
A Dudley secondary school is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Criminology Teacher to deliver the Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology. This is a four-day-per-week role starting ASAP, focused on teaching post-16 learners and guiding them through the internally and externally assessed units of the qualification.
You will plan and deliver structured lessons that develop students’ understanding of criminology theories, crime prevention, the criminal justice system and investigative techniques. The role includes planning, marking and preparing students for controlled assessments and examinations under the WJEC specification.
 
The Candidate
You must hold QTS or QTLS and have experience delivering Level 3 qualifications, ideally Criminology or related subjects such as Law, Sociology or Psychology. Strong subject knowledge, confident classroom management and familiarity with coursework moderation requirements are essential. The ability to motivate sixth form learners and maintain high academic standards is key.
