The Role
We are seeking a committed and inspiring English Teacher to join a secondary school in Wolverhampton from February 2026. This long-term role involves teaching English across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that strengthen literacy, critical thinking, and exam performance. You will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, assessment and supporting departmental initiatives.
 
The Candidate
You’ll be a qualified English Teacher (QTS or ECT) with strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to motivate students of all abilities. The school is looking for someone organised, proactive and confident in managing behaviour, with a clear focus on driving progress and maintaining high expectations in the classroom.
