 The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Birmingham from November 2025. This long-term supply role involves teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and scientific understanding.
You’ll take on full classroom responsibilities — planning, teaching, marking, and assessment — while working within a collaborative and supportive Science department. The school values creativity, consistency, and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning. 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and knowledgeable Science specialist who can motivate students of all abilities. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs welcome)
 - Confident teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (any specialism considered)
 - Able to create engaging, practical lessons that bring scientific concepts to life
 - Skilled at using assessment to track and improve student progress
 - A reflective practitioner who works well as part of a team
