Computer Science Teacher – September Start

  • Contract: Long-term supply
  • Rate: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
 
The Role
You will be delivering high-quality Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students as they develop core coding, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills. The role includes planning, marking, and contributing to a thriving ICT & Computing faculty. You’ll be working closely with a dedicated team that values innovation, digital literacy, and strong subject knowledge.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
  • UK QTS (or equivalent) and specialism in Computer Science or a related subject
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Computer Science in a UK secondary school
  • A strong understanding of the computing curriculum, including programming languages (Python preferred)
  • Excellent classroom management and a passion for tech-driven learning
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to teaching and learning
