TEACHING ASSISTANT - We are looking for a number of Teaching Assistants to support children and/or young adults in this new SEMH Setting which has capacity to support both children and young adults across Primary, Secondary and Post 16.

This is a lovely setting that supports children and young adults with more complex needs, barriers to learning and SEMH therefore it is essential that you have experience working in this type of setting and can demonstrate a track record of making a difference to the outcomes of the children and young adults you support.
There are a variety of roles on offer across the setting so our priority is to establish where you might fit in?

The roles on offer are full-time Monday to Friday, with an immediate start and the prospect to progress to a permanent role in September.

In order to apply you must be:-
- An experienced and qualified TA or LSA with SEND or AP experience
- Happy working across the full spectrum of complex needs to include SEMH, Autism, ADHD, Asperger’s, CAMHS, ODD, Detachment Disorders and Challenging Behaviour.
- Used to working on a 1-2-1 or small group-basis.
- Willing to develop a specialism as part of the team
- Able to show real empathy and commitment to the children you support
- Looking for something long-term with permanent prospects
- Used to de-escalation although training in their preferred technique will be given once the post becomes substantive
- At your best when working with children that need it most
- Able to commit to a full school day Monday to Friday
- Have great References and real experience at School-level

Our client is looking to move quickly and in order to apply you must have:-
- Relevant experience in an SEND or AP setting
- Appropriate Qualifications - Level 3 TA - Degree
- DBS on the Update Service
- References to support your experience
