Job Details

School Minibus Driver – Working with a good School where you will be contributing towards attendance. Working as part of a team of 2 you will be picking up children with school attendance challenges from their homes to take them to School.  You will be supported by an Attendance & Pastoral Officer.
You must be: -

  • A driver who is either qualified to drive a Minibus or happy to take the course to do so.
  • Happy to work as part of a team and help improve attendance.
  • Once the children are at School you will be responsible for working with the Pastoral Team, which includes speaking to parents and some work with the children to focus their attention on learning.
  • Used to working with children and young adults with experience gained ideally in an education or similar setting.
  • Able to manage some of the challenges that come with the role with a smile and focus on why you are there.
As part of the process, we will run a DVLA check, and you will need an Enhanced DBS.
