Job Description
Part-time tutor required to work on a 1-2-1 basis with a Key Stage 4 student. This role involves working 2 hours a day, Monday-Friday supporting a young person that has faced barriers to education. For this role you must have experience working as a tutor within a similar environment, or hold qualified teacher status. Resilience and a sense of humour are essential for this role as you will be working with challenging behaviours, and need to be able to inspire the students to engage with lessons.

This role involves planning  delivering sessions on Maths, English and Science, tracking student progress and helping the student to overcome barriers to education Although academic progress is important, there is a strong focus on social and personal development. The end goal is to help this child reintegrate to mainstream education. For more information about the role, apply now.

Ideally you will be

- A qualified teacher or experienced Tutor 
- Used to finding creative solutions
- Encouraging participation in lessons
- Happy to work on a 1-2-1 basis
- Have your own transport
- A friendly, professional and dedicated Teacher or Tutor
- Able to provide recent, relevant education references
