Level 2 or 3 Primary Teaching Assistant for Ofsted "Good" Primary School in Birmingham.  

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-2-1 and small group basis with a KS1 children that need additional support during lessons. As a Teaching Assistant you will need to have excellent communication skills, good behaviour management and a positive approach! There is plenty of opportunity to inspire the children, as you will be working closely with the teaching staff to ensure that you are providing appropriate support.

The school have an excellent track record of enabling students to break down significant barriers to education that include EAL, SEND and challenging behaviour.  The staff are proactive and highly engaging, and keen to motivate and inspire children to achiee a love of learning.  Smaller than average class sizes and a therapeutic approach to learning make this is a great opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1-2-1, small group and classroom suport basis with a wonderful team in a very good school.

Ideally you will be:

-          A Level 3 TA with Primary School experence to include SEND and EAL
-          A confident classroom practitioner able to support lessons in a creative and inspiring manner
-          Used to finding creative solutions to overcome barriers to learning
-          Encouraging participation in lessons
-          Happy to work on a 1-2-1 or small group basis
-         Able to provide support to teaching staff across KS1
-          A friendly, professional  and dedicated Teaching Assistant
-          Able to provide recent, relevant education references
