Job Description
Academic Mentor for mainstream Secondary School to work with a combination of SEND and mainstream pupils needing additional support to make progress in core subjects; Maths, English, Science and Humanties.  The School is happy to consider either temporary or permanent candidates, with the most important thing being your capacity to make a difference.

Ideally you should have experience of working with children and young adults with additional needs, or have an interest in providing specialist support to students with additional needs through employment or specific qualifications. 

What you'll need to succeed

- Degree Qualified or Level 3 Teaching Assistant

- Have recent experience of working within a class supporting SEN students.

- Be resilient, positive thinking and hands-on with your work practice.

- Adhere to school policies and procedures and be willing to take lead from senior staff.

- Valid Enhanced DBS on the update service.
