About the role

I am currently working on behalf of The Education Network as we’re looking to recruit a primary school teacher for a long-term role in South Shields starting at Easter running until the summer. The successful applicant will need to have a good understanding of Key Stage 2 and be able to deliver this to the highest level possible.

  • You must be willing to complete registration with us so that you are clear to work in primary schools from a compliance perspective.
  • You must be qualified to teach primary education within the UK
  • Be flexible with working patterns
  • Relevant experience working with KS2 pupils is essential
  • Full and clear DBS check preferably on the online update system (or be willing to undertake one)
  • Have genuine enthusiasm and care for the development of children in an educational setting
  • Professional references that cover you for the last 2 years (one of which must be education-based)
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
