If you’re a bubbly and enthusiastic graduate with a passion for supporting SEN pupils… this is the role you’re looking for!
As an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working on a 1:1 basis with a young child in Year 5 who has Autism. This child is very bright and is fairly academic. They struggle with long periods of work and require small breaks throughout the day. Your role will be to support this child on a 1:1 basis with all elements of school life (academically, emotionally and physically).
The school is based in the leafy Ward of Hall Green and can be easily accessed via public transport. Whilst the bus will drop you directly outside the school, the nearest train line is less than 0.5 miles away from the school gates. This ‘Outstanding’ primary school is well known in the local authority for its support and guidance to both newly qualified teachers and support staff alike.
