These opportunities are available to any undergraduate with any kind of degree. Secondary schools will require a related specialist degree for the subject you are covering, whilst primary is completely open. You’ll need to be a fun and enthusiastic undergraduate who is able to instil a love of education your children.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working on a 1:1 and small group basis with underachieving pupils, supporting them through the national curriculum. You’ll be tasked in providing educational and emotional support to give these children the start to life they need.
We currently have three secondary schools in North Birmingham and two primary schools (also North Birmingham) looking to take on an Undergraduate from September 2022. The secondary schools require support in English, Maths and Science.
