This Humanities Teaching Assistant is perfect for a graduate who is looking to gain experience, prior to starting a PGCE or School Direct Scheme in the near future.
To be considered for this Humanities Teaching Assistant role, you will need to have a Humanities related degree and the enthusiasm to support under-achieving pupils.
In this Humanities Teaching Assistant role, you will be responsible for helping raise the attainment levels of under-achieving Humanities students (History, Geography or R.E), providing 1:1 and small group intervention sessions and trying to bridge the gap between them and their peers.
The school is based in Wolverhampton and has a fantastic reputation within the local authority. It has supported graduates through teacher training previously and has a fantastic support programme to help you kick-start your career in education.
This Humanities Teaching Assistant role is to start in September 2022 and will finish in July 2023. It pays £70 to £80 per day and is based at a secondary school in Wolverhampton.
