In the role of a Maths Teaching Assistant, you will be working on a 1:1 and small group basis with under-achieving KS3 & KS4 Maths students, providing intervention sessions with the aim of raising attainment levels and bridging the gap between them and their peers.
The school offer potential candidates the opportunity of a teacher training programme the following year, but that all depends on how well the Maths graduate copes with the support year. The school is based in the ward of Northfield, making it easily accessible from Longbridge, Northfield, Kings Norton and Weoley. Public transport will drop you right outside the school entrance.
