We are looking for a bubbly and enthusiastic graduate who has a passion for education. This role is ideal for a graduate who is looking to gain experience, prior to them starting a teacher training programme in the near future. This role will kick-start your career in education and will provide you with the skills and knowledge to give you the best start, when you apply for your teacher training course.
You will be required to provide 1:1 and small group support to under-achieving pupils in EYFS, KS1 or KS2. You will be tasked in helping raise their attainment levels by taking them out of the classroom and providing specific support across the national curriculum.
The school is based in the Ward of Yardley, making it easily accessible via public transport. Various bus routes running from Birmingham and Solihull will from you less than 100m from the school gates. Being deemed ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, this 2-Form Entry primary school are well-equipped to support you and provide you with the skills necessary to become an excellent classroom practitioner.
