Our client are looking to recruit an outstanding teacher to join a highly successful and supportive Science department. Previously, 90% of students achieved 9-4 grade in GCSE Biology, 81% for GCSE Chemistry and 79% for GCSE Physics. For Combined Science, 64% of students achieved grade 9-4.

You will have a vision of achieving excellence and raising further standards of teaching and learning across the department plus developing a love of Science through discovery and practical investigations. You will be a team player with a clear understanding of current and future curriculum developments. The school strive to facilitate manageable workload by sharing planning, resources and best practice, and by ensuring that any assessment, feedback and ‘marking’ is only carried out where it is essential to the progress of learners and never just for the sake of it.
 
The school is a vibrant and successful school. In 2019 students gained strong GCSE results. 85% of students gained a 4 grade or higher in English and Maths and 58% of students achieved a grade 5 or higher in English and Maths. 83% achieved 5 GCSEs or more graded at 4 or above.
