A lovely school in Selly Oak are looking for a qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant. You will need to help support the teacher on a whole class basis and 1:1 basis with certain individuals. You will need excellent communication skills, have good working knowledge and experience of EYFS. It is important that you can think on your feet and is motivated to help children engage with learning.
You will be required to give amazing 1:1 support to an individual in reception and ensure they’re receiving the best support possible. For this you will need fantastic relationship building skills and a fun and soft approach to the child. A level 3 qualification in teaching and a minimum on 6 months experience is needed or a degree. An up to date DBS is also required. The main goal is to ensure the individual is gaining the most from your support and that they feel safe and looked after.
