*** Graduate Teaching Assistant – KS2
*** £70 - £80 per day
*** Immediate start – July 2022 finish
*** ‘Outstanding’ 2 Form Entry primary based in Sutton Coldfield
*** Literacy and Numeracy support to KS2 pupils
The school is based in the desirable area of Sutton Coldfield and is deemed ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. It’s a 2 Form Entry primary school and the Headteacher has been with them since September 2021. She is now looking to deploy a number of graduates across the key stages in order to provide her pupils with specialist support through literacy and numeracy.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, your duties will include:
*** getting the classroom ready for lessons
*** listening to children read, reading to them or telling them stories
*** helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
*** helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records
*** supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
*** supervising group activities
*** looking after children who are upset or have had accidents
*** clearing away materials and equipment after lessons
*** helping with outings and sports events
*** taking part in training
*** carrying out administrative tasks
