Speech and Language Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you a speech and language graduate, looking to support children with speech barriers?
Are you looking for a role within a school for the remainder of the academic, prior completing your competencies in the near future?
*** Speech & Language Graduate Teaching Assistant
*** £80 - £90 per day
*** Immediate start – July 2022 finish
*** ‘Good’ 2 Form-Entry primary school, Ladywood
*** 1:1 and small group speech support to KS1 & KS2 pupils
*** Provide intervention sessions to children with SAL difficulties.
*** Gain development alongside a Speech & Language Therapist
*** Work in partnership with the school’s SENDCo
*** Produce learning materials for specialist 1:1 SAL sessions
In this role, your main duty will be to attend to the personal and social needs of students with speech impediments, breaking language barriers and supporting with the development of speech.
This opportunity would be perfect for a speech and language graduate, who is looking to gain experience for the academic year, prior to starting further education or your competences.
This is a mainstream, 3 Form-Entry primary school based in South Birmingham. The school is situated 0.5 miles away from the train station, which makes it easily accessible via public transport.
