Would you like to work in a mainstream secondary school, supporting on a 1:1 basis?
 
*** Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
*** £75-£85 per day
*** Immediate start, until July 2022
*** Mainstream secondary school based in Ladywood
*** ADHD support on a 1:1 basis
 
This Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role is to support a child with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), on a 1:1 basis. Knowledge of ADHD is a must, and the role would be ideal for a psychology graduate who is looking to go into educational or clinical psychology.
 
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition that affects people's behaviour. People with ADHD can seem restless, may have trouble concentrating and may act on impulse
 
The school is situated in the Ward of Ladywood. Although it is a mainstream school, it has a high proportion of students with special educational needs (higher than the national average).
